Students in each year are divided into four class sections labelled GOLD, DIAMOND, EMERALD AND SAPPHIRE. A class teacher is attached to each section and remains with it for at least one academic session. There are three opportunities for class teachers to meet formally with their students on a weekly basis:

  • Daily, during registration
  • Weekly, Guidance lessons [G-10]
  • Thursdays during the formators assembly

Class teachers are responsible for the pastoral care of all the students in their class and try as much as possible to get a true portrait of each student to enable them to make useful reports to the principal and their parents. They constantly monitor the behaviour and work of each student and try to see that their classes obey the rules and regimen of the college.

Subject teachers are divided into departments, each supervised by a head of the department. The heads of department organise regular departmental meetings and also meet with the Principal and the Vice Principal Academics as a group and on an individual basis.

It is a system set up to assist the students to learn based on their speed level, all the classes are categorised based on the speed of assimilation and then drilled accordingly. It avails the slow learners the time needed to meet up with the others in class.

In addition to subject based learning, our co-curricular activities are created to support the growth of social skills, moral principles, physical development, and student learning.

Thus, participation in these events is required of all students. These activities are organized through clubs and societies which include:

  • Coding club
  • Literary club,
  • Debating & Drama Society
  • JETS club
  • Bible club
  • Gifted hands club
  • Press club

Depending on their interests or skills, every student can join at least one club.
